Support
Find answers to common questions about our organization and how we help children and young adults facing neglect or absent parents.
What is Reclaim You?
Reclaim You is a healing space for children, teens, and young adults impacted by emotionally unavailable, neglectful, or absent parents. Through personal stories, emotional tools, and safe connection we help you reclaim your voice, worth, and peace.
Who is this platform for?
Reclaim You is for anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or unloved - especially those navigating wounds from parental absence or emotional neglect. Whether you're 13 or 30 this space is for you.
Is this a therapy website?
No. Reclaim You is not a substitute for therapy. We provide emotional support, peer connection, and self- guided tools. But we always encourage professional help for deeper healing. If you're in crisis please visit our "How We Help" page for support options.
Will people judge me for my experiences?
No one here is perfect- and that's the point. Reclaim You is a judgement- free zone. Many of us carry stories that haven't been validated before. Here, your experiences are honored, not questioned.
How do I join the community?
We're building a private, safe space for peer support. You can join our email list to get updates and receive an update when our community space launches. In the meantime, you can connect with us through story submissions and our upcoming journaling prompts.
